Sony is a long way from its goal that it had is aiming for with PSVR 2

Sony appears to be a long way from the long-awaited goal for PSVR 2, which was unveiled a few months ago.

Sony’s latest toy, PSVR 2, seems not far off from its sales goals as per an eminent VR analyst. As per IDC VR analyst Francisco Jeronimo, PSVR 2 will sell 300,000 units by March 2023. Jeronimo provided Bloomberg an explanation for the reason behind the PS5 game may not be performing well.

“Consumers all over the world are confronted with increasing costs of living, increasing interest rates , and increasing layoffs,” says Jeronimo. “For the majority of people living in today’s economic climate, VR headsets are not the first thing on their your mind.”

Jeronimo is also suggesting that Sony could cut significant prices on the cost of its PSVR 2 to avoid “a serious catastrophe.”

It’s true that it’s not yet too late to announce sadness to PSVR 2, which has been available for a little more than one month. But, the PS4’s PlayStation VR managed to sell more than 1 million units within the first four months of sales. It is worth noting that the original PlayStation VR is priced at a cheaper price.
